Extracting RAR files

Hi,
I have WINRAR and am trying to extract RAR files from CD ROM to pc. I am a novice and sooooo confused!! Can anyone help please??

's easy really
2 ways you can go
double click the file - should open the rar browser
to extract all files
just click the "extract to" icon
alternatively select the files you want
then click the icon
(second icon on the top row)
choose where you want to put the files
click ok

or

find the file on the cd... hi-light it (single left click)
then with the pointer still over the file - right click
A menu should appear ... and the winrar options are included

After extracting it appears as an nds file...with nothing to read it.....
