Second Kindle Problem

My fiend has a Kindle Fire but has now bought a Paperwhite. She has registered it to her Amazon account but when she tries to buy a book Amazon only shows her first Kindle. We have tried registering it but still no joy. Can anyone help please?

She should contact Amazon. Several devices can be registered to one account so I don't know why she is having a problem.
Has she given the Paperwhite a different device name?

Yes, she has given it a different name. Several of my friends have connected two Kindles with no problem. This is the first time I have known it to happen.
