I want to buy a candle for Mother's Day but have no idea which one. My mum has blackberry and bay perfume if that's any help? I don't really want to get her the same scented candle. Thanks

My sister`s a big fan of Pomegranate Noir. If your Mum likes fruity scents, she might like that.

They say that buying a scented candle as a present shows lack of imagination.
Think if something that she would really like; picture of grandchildren in a nice frame? picture of you as a child blown up and framed? Make a fancy voucher/card promising to cook a meal of her choice, go to a film of her choice?
Just a thought.

I'm still at school I don't have kids I can't cook and most things I buy her she doesn't like I know she likes jo malone and candles and that she would really appreciate the fact that I actually thought of the idea myself and buying it with my own money. I think a voucher is unimaginative as you can't be bothered to put in the effort to choose something specific. I think I have a better idea than you thanks.
Agree the pomegranate may suit if she likes fruity scents, or if she likes the woody smell possibly Wild Fig and Cassis.

Or you could buy something more seasonal as it's for Mother's day, so spring scents.

I dn;t think it shows lack of imagination when they are quality candles and you know your mum likes them. I would appreciate it as a gift as it saves me feeling guilty about buying what I'd consider a luxury item :)
I love scented candles and would be delighted to be given one as a mothers day gift, or at any other time. I think you're either into scented candles or not, if you're not then maybe you see them as a waste of money. Rebecons mum likes them though, so I sure she'll be really pleased.
My all time favourite is Jo Malones pomegranate noir, it's a lovely scent, not too cloying or overpowering but very recognisable. I'd much, much prefer a scented candle to a photo frame or voucher.
That's me told.
