Yeah, he was a bit too arrogant!
At work the lady that works on the Jewellery counter had a call off her daughter yesterday to say the said daughter has passed the audition for this Deal or No Deal show and has to go down for 2 weeks of filming next week! I might watch it now. Not that i know the woman who has got on the show but her mum is quite scary as debenhams employees go and she will demand we all watch it .
what did he end up winning?
500 after swapping his box which had 3000 in.
I liked the guy. He was just a happy chappy. He deserved more
Question Author
well he could have had 18000 but as per on this show, greed over takes sense! 18000 for sitting and having a cuppa with Noel and counting from 1 to 22 in any order sounds good to me. Some just don't know when to stop... V entertaining tho, I can't wait for Lucy to have her go and I want her to win BIG x

good show but its getting some bloody annoying people on lately.

I hadn't minded him before, but he reeeally annoyed me tonight!! to the point where I was hoping he'd get the 500. I don't necessarily think he was greedy for turning down the 18,000, he had quite a strong board, and he could have easily won more if it had turned out differently. I reckon Lucy's show will be shown next Saturday. I really have to get out more....

Question Author
yeah, you and me both zip. surely they can't keep Lucy waiting that long, I sussed that they would have camp marcus or lucy last sat nite and my mate commented on an outfit she was wearing like forever ago so she must be due soon... yep, need to step outside occasionally...
Yep, I found him annoying too. He got what he deserved.

dot can you please ask the scary Debenhams lady if she will be required to sit through each filming in the audience. Mr S and I cannot understand how the family member gets to be there on the day they choose the contestant. How adaptable are the Debenhams management I wonder!

Poor Lucy let's hope her turn comes this week. Apparantly many contestants are self-employed; I can't see any other way of getting around it. Also they must have a bit of cash stashed away to do DOND for weeks on end.

i thought Jim was brilliant, for a start he really got the audience going and second he really looked like he was enjoying himself! so what if he only won 500 he went with nothing Pog!
Question Author
sunflower, i have it on good authority that they film 3 games per day, hence someone who said this was their 21st show would have been there for 7 working days. But, do they stay in a hotel and if so, who pays, them or C4? and, I think the families are told when they are going to be on.... and, I think i am v sad for even thinking of this so deeply!

I felt a mixture of embarrassment and irritation watching the guy..probably the guys a nice chap and all that. but his attention seeking was obvious and in the end ludicrous and tiresome.

I'm afraid he got what he deserved.

He woke the audience up anyway...They all seem normal when they are just opening boxes !
