Seems a bit pointless but I'd do the same.
easy money for the cleaner then ;)

I always tidy before the window cleaners come just in case they look in...
I'd have to tidy up before I really tidied up!
Tidying is different from cleaning.
If I was paying a cleaner I'd rather get them to jobs that aren't on the everyday list.

Skirting boards, doors, windows, the bloody oven!

I assure I am clothed before the window cleaner comes, except that one time ..............................
I paid a wee man to clean my oven just after Christmas, £65 and it looks like new. I did toy with the idea of giving it a once over before he got here, but in the end laziness over-ruled my pride.

im not paying. and yes woof, a tidy up is different to a good clean.
2sp....what sort of oven have you got? I've got one that has double glass and there's muck between the two pains. It's really hard to get out and I'm scared I'd break. The other oven is single glass and very easy to clean.
ummmm, sounds like you have the same sort of oven as I do.

I used a company called Cookerburra, I'm pretty sure that they are national.

They were fantastic, no smell or mess left behind. He took the doors off completely and cleaned them in a vat of "something" in his van.

(I hope this isn't classed as advertising!)
Sounds good. I'll look into that.

ps...it's not advertising, it's recommending :-)
OK, then I recommend that you have a look at this site -

:-D
Thanks. They are in my area :-)
I'll clean your oven for £65 ummmm...I'm a dab hand at it, got it down to a fine art now :o)
