cylinder head gone

my cylinder head gaskets gone on my combo van,should i put a new cylinder head in or new engine

You should not do neither, just get a new gasket put in, the garage should check whether you would need a new head or engine which is very unlikely.

The cylinder head might be warped but this could be skimmed and re-fitted.

head gasket of course. but while the head is off get it skimmed and pressured tested it will tell u if theres any cracks or pitting on the head

Just fit a new gasket and have the head skimmed, it'll be fine. Just be sure to use a top quality Antifreeze with Corrosion Inhibitor to keep things right.
