I'm now a Great Granny to an adorable little boy who was born 6 weeks premature weighing 3.5 pounds.

He is doing wonderful and the tiniest little fellow I have ever seen.

Its amazing how a little scrap like he is can fill your heart with love.

What wonderful news. Congratulations. My first grandson was born 7 weeks prem and weighed the same as yours. He is now 25 and much taller than me.
I love him to bits and can still remember seeing him that first time, his head fitted into the palm of my hand! I am soooo pleased for you xxxxxxxxxx

Aww thank you.

I know the feeling of the first,and in my case the only Grandchild. When we were told he was coming I filled with joy and still feel the same about him. He is 29 now and its his and his wife's first baby.

I can't wait to hold him.....maybe later in the week. Precious moments.

Congratulations cupotee. It is the most wonderful feeling to hold your grandchild. My g grandchild is 10 weeks old now and I got to
Cuddle her for the first time last week. I felt that my heart could burst with emotion and could not stop crying. Sadly she has gone back to Sweden now so I won't see her until June.
I hope that your little one comes on in leaps and bounds, small babies usually do. Enjoy.

Our darling baby boy reached his "due date" last weekend and now weights almost 6 lb.

We get to see him most days via pictures on Facebook [it has its uses]. I am totally hooked on the little chap and resort to kissing my screen....no hope for this old Great Granny .
