About 18 months ago I started getting loads, only usually one at a time but as soon as one would go another would erupt and it was really annoying as I usually have clear skin.
I stopped drinking cows milk and switched to soya milk and the spots have completely gone and I feel alot better too, don't know if it was a coincidense ut it has put me off going back to cows milk.
have you started eating something new recently? i find that when i eat chocolate and oranges i come out in sports!
I think the clearasil gel wash works really well for both getting rid of and preventing sports. Also put "Sudo cream" (think that's how you spell it) on before you go to sleep and wash it off when you get up. I find that makes my skin look a lot better.
hope that helps
If its affecting your confidence and social abilities when out and about you can go to your GP and ask for anti-biotics. Of course it depends on your overall health as to whether you can take them.
I've been on Minocin MR (Minocycline) for 18 months now and my face is SO much clearer. I still use clearasil wash in the mornings and also use an anitbacterial topical cream Differin (Adapalene), also frothe GP's. I use this to reduce redness/angriness of spots.
Hope this helps. x
