Yesterday I was happy!
I had a delivery of clothing that I had ordered online from Tesco and was expecting the usual try it on,it won't fit, have tantrum, send it back, cry.
But no,yesterday was different.Everything fitted!Everything felt good I was amazed!
Then I realised the truth.
I finally admitted my real size.
Anyone else had this revelation?
I'm much better off for accepting my dress size. There's nothing worse than seeing someone squeezed into clothes too small for them. We all look better in something that fits properly regardless of our size and shape.
And sizing is so varied between different shops that we can all claim to be the smallest size that does fit!
in my mind, I'm a 14, in real life, I've kinda expanded a tad and my body feels comfy in the larger sizes, but to combat that, I try to convince myself that the sizes on the labels ir blurred as the ink has run :-)
No...I know the number in the label doesn't change my size. When I go shopping, depending on the item, I pick up a 10, 12 and 14 and will but whatever fits best regardless.
Bra's they are my biggest problem!! Women squeeze their boobs into bra's that are far to small making bulge out the tops and ruin the look of a perfectly nice pair of boobs. Why do they do it? do they think it improves the look of them?
I'm like Ummmm, I have to take 3 sizes into the changing room as everywhere you shop makes a different fit - it drives me mad. Not just the fit - it's the length, do you find the length of T shirts and jumpers get longer each season? They look ridiculous on me as I'm quite short-waisted. I end up having to take 3 or 4" up off the bottom. But at the other end of the scale, I have long legs so need a long length trouser 32" leg which is not always available. But we are never satisfied with our bodies are we? :)
yes I know exactly what you mean. I know what size I really am but I never tell anyone, I save myself lots of money because lots of high street shops just don't stock my size so I never go in.
I have never had the bra problem, being an A cup it is virtually impossible to 'overfill' my cup ;)
My dress and trouser size is a 12 in most shops except for H&M where I usually have to get a 14, I can be a 10 in Primark at times, especially with their jeans.
