I am a grandmother but want to dress in a stylish up to date mode. I would like to wear leggings with a long top but have no idea what to look for. I did buy a black pair of leggings in a supermarket but they are too warm to wear now. What exactly should I look for in a label etc? I hate being too warm.

Have a look a Witt International, there are some leggings there that aren't the cling to your legs type, I used to be able to buy some leggings type trousers in Evans they were known as "easy pants", sadly they haven't done them for a while. Another nice site for long tops is Yours clothing I get quite a few things from there it might appear as a site for young people but while I'm not a grandma yet I am old enough to be one, both these companies have websites so it should be easy to find them. Oh, you could take a peek at 50 plus too also online. Happy hunting!
Lyn....as someone said on here the other day...Maggie I think....lack of originality is why so many wear leggings....following the herd.
Some folk look good in leggings....but many don't and look awful...especially from behind.
Far from fashionable they may be but I love to wear floaty trousers....black and silky for the evening. I may be the only one but I know they suit me.
Find what suits you and experiment with scarves and the like for an up to date look.....says she who is sitting here in a hat that makes her look like Parrot Face Davies.....☺
