whilst out yesterday i saw some men and women dressed in a way you rarely see, i concluded these were Orthodox Jews going on past experience, however i wondered the following, without resorting to google, what is the point behind the type of dress for the men, and the extraordinary hat that one chap one wearing, not the over large fedora type i have seen often, but a round birds nest type creation, i can't think of a way to describe it, other than post a link
looking at them, it was like seeing the other side of Islam, if you understand what i mean

jomifl; Not only are acts of paedophilia against boys outlawed in Judaism, so is homosexuality itself.
'THE CLASSIC TORAH VIEW OF HOMOSEXUALITY
The Torah clearly states its views about the act of homosexuality. The act of homosexuality,
i.e. two men having sexual relations, is prohibited. The act is twice called a Toaivaan abomination and it is such a severe sin, that it merits the death penalty in a Jewish court system. If not for the fact that homosexuality is prevalent in Western Society today, there would be little controversy about this Torah sin. It is clearly forbidden and never condoned anywhere in the Torah.'

That's very reassuring Khandro, so are you saying that it doesn't happen? (I never said that the bible condones 'perverted' sexual practices just that orthodox Judaism seems to. That strange disconnect between theory and practice that is common to most religions eg, thou shalt not kill but it is OK to bless tanks. This is telling us something,)
