Hey folks,

Trying to track down an unrecognized item on my bank statement, seems to be a monthly payment of £14.95 to "ONLINE , ENTERTAINMENT V , UK GB" Currently trying to work out what the subscription is for, calling the bank in the morning, just seeing if anyone online recognizes the description at all and can speed up the process of tracking this down.

Thanks.

Does anyone in your household play computer games online?
playstation or XBox?
Have you recently booked tickets and inadvertently clicked to be notified of best offers or discounts?
Good point Psybbo- have you bought anything from Ticketmaster?
Question Author
I'm the only one in my household. I play video games but have not had a subscription to a game in years since I stopped playing WoW.
I do have an XBoxLive subscription but that's an annual subscription not monthly, xbl also isn't nearly that expensive.

Also no ticket master bookings nor similar services, and I'm usually fairly careful when it comes to notification things.
Something similar happened to OH when he books airline tickets
Question Author
I have purchased airline tickets last year, however checking historic bank statements seems this has been going on long before those tickets were booked. (not yet tracked down the first payment date, wont be able to without visiting the bank).
From googling it, the first things to come up were movies or MacAfee.
So have you been paying this every month for over a year?
You do need to get it stopped as it's a monthly charge, I think. Good luck.
Yes, I thought the V may be the first letter of Videos (although I know that's an out of date term)
I cringed typing "movies" as i call them films. Not an anti-virus, fatwednesday?
Question Author
Never used paid anti-virus software, always been an avast free guy. only movie related subs i know about are cineworld and netflix, both accounted for. It would seem so yes, Clearly i need to pay more attention, or I thought it was a different sub when i looked them over and have somehow completely forgotten about a service i used to use and didn't cancel.
I'll be hitting the bank tomorrow to try and get future payments blocked and get any additional info on it if i can.
