I said earlier that there was more to this than football. Just read in today's Mirror that Man Utd PLC's Stock Market value rocketed by £120m following the sacking. The most superfluous comment i have read in a very long time was this, "In the US, majority shareholders, the Glazers, were said to be delighted by Wall Street's reaction to his dismissal." The club is now reported to be worth about £1.72 billion!! Perhaps this thread should have been in the finance section:-)

Only major change is Fergie out and Moyes (and backroom staff) in.
