can any one help me, years ago i read abook about a family in america who emerged after a nuclear war from their shelter and expected devastation, but were met with green fields and vegetation, unknown to them they had travelled 2000 years into the future on the same spot. does anybody have any idea of the title of this book or the author?

try entering apocalyptic fiction onto wikipedia and youll get a long list of various books, films etc, id do it for you but i dont know how to post a link, sorry
