assuming that i have a webpage of 20kb in size with pictures totalling 30kb with a grand total of 50kb, would a 2gb per month usage allowance mean that i could have 20,000 page views or is there more to it?

Essentially, yes, but there'd also be the bandwidth taken up when you uploaded the file, and other small things (file requests etc), but there should only make up a few bytes.
