The Great White Shark Vs The Mako Shark

Ok, so this is just really to get more opinions due to a relatively drunken debate. Which is the better shark? Pound for pound? Who would win in a fight, just generally, which is better!! Any evidence/opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! X

The Great White will have a go at anything that looks remotely edible. One was found with a crate of roofing nails in its stomach, so it appears that they will take on allcomers, and the word 'fear' is not in their vocabulary.

Maco sharks are considered to be more threateneing to humans - that is there are more reportings of attacks, but this is largely down to their feeding habits although Macos are more aggresive. The Great White is much larger and powerful but lives and feeds in deeper waters and so is tecnically less of a threat than a Maco. Especially if you can lodge a gas cylinder in its mouth and shoot it with a rifle.

The best sharks for danger are the Tiger and Bull. If I was a shark I'd be one of those. You cant fit gas cylinders in their mouths either.

I think they mean which shark would win in a scrap with each other, not which is worse for humans!

a great white would batter the mako, nay bother.

both are agressive but the size and bite of a GW is much larger than the mako.

though an ickle dolphin could biff them both...so the legend goes...
