....... so I've spent today and yesterday, fannying around repairing a troughing joint on the conservatory.
Running around everywhere trying to match the profile of the troughing .... all to no avail, so I ended up putting new rubbers in that don't fit properly .... "botch it 'n' scarper" springs to mind.
Just finished ..... to realise I've done the wrong joint !!!!
Oh well ..... I suppose I can consider this as a practice run lol !!!!

I didn't fancy a big lunch today so I settled on just a can of ravioli on toast. I put the ravioli into the saucepan on the hob and stirred it. I waited a while and stirred it again, before putting the toast under the grill. While the bread was browning, I stirred the ravioli a couple of time more and then poured it onto the toast before adding loads of parmesan. It was only when I tasted it that I realised that ravioli doesn't heat up very well if you don't light the gas under the saucepan before doing all that stirring!

That's what I've done Tony.
I took the joint fully out and whoever put the troughings in originally, didn't put any rubbers in any of the joints, so I thought I'd just buy a new joint with new rubbers. Anyway, I couldn't match the profile, so I've replaced the old joint with some rubbers that I've made fit .... and bunged it up with good ol' silicone :)
