Forwarding E.mails

When I do this I always remove everyone's e.mail addresses from them first and my friend would like to do the same, but she has an ipad and asked me how to do it, but I haven't a clue about ipads, (I use a laptop) so can anyone tell me how she can do it -hopefully an easy explanation as she is new to technology in general -rosy

Rosy posy, if you get your friend to access Answerbank using safari on her ipad (she would not need to register or login) and look for this question she would then be able to click on the link using her ipad and follow the instructions given. I think the link is for ipad users (ie on their iPads).

This is the only way I know.
Open the email using the mail icon. Then hold your finger over the body of the text and when a circle appears let go. A word will be highlighted. You then need to expand the highlight using the small blue circles and then copy. Then tap on 'new mail' top right hand side of screen (square with a pen). Tap with finger where the text should be a copy. Add your adders and send.

Thank you for your replies, I'm afraid I can't open that link sycamore, but I will pass your advice on to her but it does sound a bit more complicated compared to the way I do it in windows 7 so hope she can do it :0)
I know, boxtops, so do I, I have always done it, but it does mean that our own address is sitting there on its lonesome for a while, doesn't it? -rosy

Thank you for the advice methyl, but I never ever open or forward anything unless I know where and from whom it comes, and it is never cr*p as you put it, mostly stuff from friends who know what I am interested in, as I know what they will like too -rosy
Oh right Sycamore, thank you for that info, she is away ATM but I will tell her when she gets back -cheers rosy
