I have downloaded a midi file which I would like to burn to CD. However, when I try and do this, I get the message "Will not fit"! This seems ridiculous- it is only a 2.5 minute song played on a nasty midi piano. Any ideas what i can do?

I think you might be missing a stage in the process - MIDI isn't a recording of free audio, it's a way of storing the data of the actual playing, and every time the PC plays it back, it replicates the original sound from the data.

You might need to convert it to a WAV file or similar before you will be able to burn it to CD.

If you want to put a midi file on a CD then don't try to make a music CD but make sure that you are selecting to make a data CD.
