I can whistle a tune along with the radio and can also whistle different notes to call our dog or cat.

My mother could whistle and always used to say that the devil laughed when he heard a woman whistle.

I cant whistle at all . It was drummed into us as kids it was something that woman should never do.

We're a large family of 'whistlers' except mum, I can remember my brother teaching me to whistle while I was in my cot. Dad used to quote the 'Whistling Woman' verse to me.
