Onwards and Downwards Continues in April 2014

Hello all,

Welcome to this month's Onwards & Downwards. We welcome anyone serious about losing weight and we offer support and kind thoughts - not magic fixes, just sensible help.

Continuing with the seasonal food theme, and also skillfully avoiding the whole how to make Easter boring with no chocolate :-), in April we should be eating these sorts of things:

It seems now is a good time for seafood like crab, cockles and sardines.

Here is something which looks lovely:

Has anyone got any other ideas for April's seasonal food?

Don't forget your weekly weigh on Wednesday and remember we don't judge!

Well done everyone.
Just popping by to share that I have lost 10 pounds since I started the Gym.
I have a review soon, so I am hoping for inch loss too.
Good for you.
Well done fernlew keep up the good work .
Hi ferlew, well done. Totally agree that exercise helps in weight loss. I was losing weight steadily until an accident that sidelined me for a few weeks, so no Gym. Back to limited exercise regime now and steadily losing weight again. 1 lb this week.

I don't like rice but have been told it would be good for me....how about how to make rice taste good?
I have put on 1lb this week after my week off work. We had visitors to stay and with all the chilly weather of last week, we all spend rather too much time in cafes and other tempting eateries! Too many scones, chips, cappuccinos etc

Never mind, i need to get back on track this week and will do my best to head onwards and downwards again.
hi Maydup you have had your blast now you know how to get back on track and I know you can .It needs something like that to show us how easy it is to gain but not so easy to lose .Good luck for next week .
Morning W and thank you.

its always good to see a friendly and supporting face here; you and/or xstitcher never let us down! Well done.
What a nice thing to read early in the morning Maydup. Thank you.
