Does anyone know why they keep changing the baby who plays Amy Barlow?

Apparently the last Amy kept crying at the sight of Charlie Stubbs.

But I do think it must be difficult to cast a baby - who can predict what they will be like as they get older?

because not to change a baby is cruel, and well, smelly.

She'd probably seen the scripts.

apparently the last little 2 year old was withdrawn from the show by her parents due to "heavy workload and harrowing scenes which were causing her distress" although the makers of the programme deny this saying they stick within guidelines as to how often little uns work for blah blah... it is usual to have more than one child playing infants though
