I just think she is such an insult to those with real depression who couldn't dream of coping with being the centre of a controversial TV programme and its ensuing publicity nor going to Majorca to enjoy a wet T-shirt competition.

I hardly think she is claiming anything that she is not entitled to unless she is the country's most stupid benefit cheat - she's hardly clandestine about what she's up to.

She has an agent!! Getting her plenty of work even though it is tatty,she doesn't look or act ill. She is obviously making money from all these appearances. but as they saying goes in her case never look a gift horse in the mouth!

most people who go on holiday/go to hospital whilst on benefits don't declare it. Why because if they do it takes soooo long to get back in the system.
I like white Dee, she seems the only sensible one in that street and she tries to help lots of people to the best of her ability, I bet its the first holiday she has had in a long time. Presume she has taken her kids out of school and will face the consequences on her return.
Here is a true story my mum worked for DSS at Greenwich for years [ she is no longer with us] and she came to stay with us in Dubai a well know duo were top of the bill in an open air stadium. mum wanted to go back stage before the show to wish these "London boys" good luck, off she went [ not me !] a big burly roadie stood in her way and say no way until she quietly told him he was "on her books" at Greenwich DSS and his money would stop as from now !she was ushered in to meet the duo pronto, given champagne autographs a mention whilst the duo were on stage the works, so it happens everywhere.
