When I order something online and go to register my details, I type in my postcode but my address doesn't show up! As it's all automatic, you can't type in the house name, the house number and the street name... The nearest I can get are the flats a few doors down. One has the same number as my house and this is where most of my mail ends up. Unfortunately it's a holiday home... My house has been around a lot longer than the flats and all bills etc get delivered through the right door! It's just the internet shopping... Any ideas?? Thanks

Chizzy22 I have exactly the same problem because my house is situated inside a park. It never comes up under the Royal Mail address system which is what most companies use. I even rung royal mail to find out if the house was actually registered and they said it had been registered since 1932.

So I now get most of my stuff delivered to work.

We've even had to go to our local Pizzahut and put an X on their map so they now where to deliver. I tell you it's not much fun and I wish we had a box standard address

Might be worth checking with the Royal Mail that your postcode is what you think it is
It could be that when you type in postcode if the first parti s say lLL26 0bd remember that the 0 is a nought not a letter O we had this problem and we were told our house didn't exist.

My mail is delivered to 5 ***** Flats. I spoke to someone earlier and they suggested contacting my local post office to try and re-register my address (thinking that because the flats have now been built, they have accidently erased my address from the system) Will keep you posted! Thank you all so much for your help.
