I Am Going Awol From Ab

This is my last visit to AB for at least a couple of weeks because tomorrow morning I am going into hospital for more surgery. Mr O is convinced I am leaving him by stealth, body part by body part and he thinks one morning he will wake up and find just my head on the pillow!

Absolutely NO reference to you Mrs O but reading the above had me thinking about The Godfather ( horse's head on the pillow). Good luck with your next op & hurry back to us ( not only here on AB but I tell you pretty well the whole of Whitby will be on tenterhooks until your return.)

the technical name for this is total body-ectomy
or if in your case it is in bits: creeping total body-ectomy

The MD when I was employed and myself were described as having one complete body between us....
