Nearly all e,ail providers allow you to create aliases, which could easily solve your problem.
If, for example, the account you want to use with your current AB account (but can't because it's linked to your odd account) is
[email protected], log into that account using web-based access (and not an email client, such as Outlook Express or Windows Live Mail).
You should then see an option to create an alias, so (for example) you could choose
[email protected].
Any mail sent to that new address will still end up in your '
[email protected]' inbox, so you can use your new alias on your AB profile.
