why has my laptop suddeny stopped burning cds?

hi all


i have an acer travelmate 2300 with windows media player where i usuallyrip and burn cds... today i have tried it and cannot burn anything... I keep getting a message to try different diskd.. i am using the same brand i always use but thought hey maybe its a dodgy batch so havenow tried 3 makes asnd nothing when i try thecd on my stereo or in the car or work. when i put the cd back into the laptop it comes up with the list of songs and plays fine... i need your help!

As the discs are playing OK in your PC, I would assume that you have not "finalised" them, or have not burnt them as audio CDs. Another possibility may be that - as you are using Windows Media Player to do the ripping/burning - that it may be a Digital Rights issue.
I would try changing the software you use to burn your cd's, most computer problems are simple little bugs in the computer and a simple uninstall and reinstall could do the job.
