sometimes the thank you to a reply and mis-spelling the answerer's name tickles me.

I know I've been called a few things:-)

'Ethandrum' really tickled me! or is that really the responder's name and I'm the one who's been mis-reading it?

It used to be the case that trolls would take a name and change it slightly in order to fool us :-(

lol, Mamya, it was Eth who was called Ethandrum, which got me chuckling.
If someone's going to mis-spell a name, what a lovely way to type it!

I'd also like to make it clear, I'm not belittling Eth in any way shape or form either (I know the written word can be read in a variety of ways) I like Eth,
always a helpful and friendly poster.

Maybe I'm just partial to typos and such like. (I LOVE puns)

I submitted a serious post earlier and was mortified to see that I the spellchecker had turned my poor attempt at 'some' into 'slime'.

It has bee such a shocking typo that no one has posted on the thread ;-)

I can remember listening to the Glums on the "wireless". Oh Ron, Yes Eth. Somethings worrying me. What is it Eth. etc

My mum and dad were actually called Eth and Ron, although my mum hated the name and was always known by her middle name, and two people less like the Glums you couldn't wish to meet, although they did occasionally pretend to be the Glums and do the chit chat. They were lovely, lovely people.
