Perhaps, but better than getting a phone call next week because a toddler has run up to him. I'm just thinking as a temporary safety measure.

the trouble is pixie, you can't just plonk a muzzle on a dog job done. Most dogs can be taught to tolerate a muzzle but it takes time. Indie, as the rescue rep, no offence but I am a bit surprised you don't know more about what dog wardens and councils can and can't do?

The dog attacked t'other dog to 'protect' its owner. Thats what territorial dogs do. I dont think the dog warden has a case to remove your friends dog & less chance of putting it to sleep.

the rescue is only in its baby stages 2yrs we been going but we are wholly comitted to ebt rescue and rehab

I am sure you are. As a young rescue, what training have you had? and have you got any support from older rescues?
