There should be some sort of law about cover versions of total classics!

Oh my good. Bowie - is genius!

Cover again is tragic, whether it is meant to be funny or not its just wrong.
But Shatner's covers are just tongue in cheek!!

God*

See my annoyance and forced me to type badly lol =)
I'd pay to see Rolfy over Bowie anyday.
I adore Bowie! Always have, always will. But you just can't compare people like Bowie with Rolf who is brilliant in so many ways - he is such a rounded person. To be like that in your seventies is amazing.

Covers can be better than the original. Geoff Buckley's Halleluja for example!!
Much as I adore Bowie BOO. Rolfy makes me feel so happy so he would win. I would be serious watching Bowie and awestruck. Rolfy's gigs just bring pure joy.
Hi Greedyfly - just spotted this when I was reading the current Rolf thread.

As you can see here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Money_or_the_Gun

Rolf is only one of a number of artists who covered the Zep classic - and this is the reason why.

I have the album, which has twenty-two different versions of the song, and it is absolutely wonderful - do check out the versions, especially The Beatnix one - classic! let me know what you think.
