If I were you I would go and check paypal through a separate window, if all looks fine, then forward the mail to paypal's fraud/phishing department. Don't lick on any links in the email:)
okay just click on your icon you use to get onto the internet and when a fresh page appears with whatever you have set you homepage to- that's a new window. There are lots of ways of doing this depending on your browser but this usually works for everything. Then just put paypal's address into the address bar and sign in:)
definite scam
watch out
good advice from the usual suspects
Did anyone say you turn off your email and access paypal thro a freshly minted chrome or google page ?
I get these every few months - and has really put me off internet banking as the banks themselves if you send in the emails dont seem to give a t+ss. ( your loss if you follow the link so in the spirit of client service they think so what and go and have some foffee )
