Good Morning Early Birds!

Thursday. The sky is clear and the stars a re showing off. A bit nippy still though. Most of the wildlife are being sensible and have been out and about and gone home again.

We are told summer begins today. We shall see if they are lying to us again.

I had a phone call from my friends (the ones I'm going to see for a few days on Saturday) last night to tell me they are back from their holiday. I'm under orders to be there by 9AM on saturday. I wasn't told why though, so something is planned.

yes Gwen was a lovely lady and her fiancée was in a Japanese prison camp, they married on his return and he died at 90.
Minty that was a lovely gesture to put flowers on Edith Cavel's grave, are you watching The Crimson Field on Sunday evenings on BBC ? it was very good last Sunday.
