What was it about? I reckon it was about 3 hours of my life I can't get back! Absolute garbage, stretched over 3 painfully slow episodes. I never want to see John Simm pull a hood over his head and sneak away ever again!
With you on that one, Jeza. Whilst we always suspected that he would prove his innocence in the end, there were enough twists and turns along the way to keep the pot boiling.
Ken I think you are right there was twists and turns so prehaps that is where my husband and I have had trouble. Maybe we wasnt concentrating on it enough. It was only tonight one we have had trouble with. x
mmm. like a lot of similar programmes, I was disappointed with the ending. Its as though they have to cram all the loose ends, no matter how improbably, into 1 last episode. As though they were promised, say, 6 episodes, only to be told after the second one to 'wrap' it up in the next one.
No real tension at all, we knew all along that the murders were not down to the husband. It all seemed to hinge on a case from 10 years ago, when Mac was beaten up and took revenge on the attacker. That would have been a better story.
