Hi all,
Can anyone please tell me if a person is able to hold Brazilian, Italian and British passports at the same time, or is two the limit.
Many thanks,
Pw

Some countries insist that you hold only one passport, I think the USA has this rule, a US citizen must surrender any right to an other passport if they want to hold a US passport. I am open to correction on this though.
In the case you mention, as Italy and UK are full EU members holding 2 EU passports gives no advantage.

why stop at three ?
I think the UK is one that isnt keen on dual nationality
but can do very little about it. My father renounced his nationalities on naturalising British and then renewed his South African Passport......
There are very few advantages - useful I suppose if you are forgetful or tend to lose things.
and some disadvantages - you cant plead - Oh I dont do that sort of thing I am a foregin national...
Nos 2 and 3 nationality can deprive you of citizenship
but the last one standing ( which ever one that is ) can't thro treaty obligations not to make someone stateless.

As of early 1998, children there on can only hold one passport in the EU, so you must take your choice. My daughter fell 'foul' of this one, she was born in NL but holds US and UK. Technically, she's allowed to do that until she's 18 and then should decide as to the States, but who does. Yes, you can hold Brazilian, Kuwaiti, South African and all the rest - I saw one man with five going into Kuwait!
