Alfie Boe Cruise

P&O Azura are operating a 4 night cruise starting 26th May with Alfie Boe performing. I have heard from someone (possibly unofficially) that he won't be appearing. Has anyone heard anything please

and there's nothing on his Facebook pages to indicate that he's not able to fulfil his current commitments:

The cancellation of his winter US tour, followed by him opening up about his drinking problems

has probably resulted in some people questioning whether he'll honour all of his commitments but it's likely that it's just idle speculation rather than anything based upon real insider knowledge.

My reason for asking was that I e mailed P&O to ask what arrangements would be made for seat allocation in the ships theatre and I received a very curt reply stating "AB will not be on the cruise" . I checked with my travel agents who claimed to know nothing but hopefully will have a definite answer by Monday.

Thank you for that, I hope that he joins the cruise but it certainly seems that there has been some doubt

My travel agent contacted me today with the news that P&O have confirmed Alfie Boe will be performing on the cruise, fingers crossed.

Just seen this and had a shock as he is the main reason we are going on this cruise... do hope he is appearing.....I had tickets to see Alfie last year at the Royal Albert Hall but was in hospital and couldn't go so would be very upset to miss him again.
