frogs

I'm in Manchester and have neither seen frogs or their spawn yet. Has anyone else up north seen any yet??

Yes i went walking on friday night ( i live in the northwest) and saw loads all sat in the road. There were these two frogs sort of squaring up to each other like they were gonna fight. Then they just both turned round and walked off. Strange.

Thanks. I suppose I'm looking for someone in Manchester who actually has frogs and frogspawn in their pond. I am quite concerned that the frogs ahve no returned to my pond this year

hi - Im in south Derbyshire so not far away from you. Ive just replied to another thread about noticing spawning frogs yesterday and today in our garden pond.I had never witnessed this before so Im very pleased.

Thats great news for you although I think my frogs are doomed as they're not yet out and breeding or have come out and suffered the cold.

Does anyone in south manchester have any spare frogspawn?
