Cat Asleep On Wet Grass

My lawn is sodden from last night's rain and yet Eric is curled up on it, fast asleep. He's not wearing his wetsuit so how can he be so oblivious to it?

We have a bloody cat that jumps in the hot tub then goes and stretches out on a tin roof- he steams! Weird things.

Yes, he is still alive but now I've woken him up he thinks it's yet another meal-time and has come in and deposited his wet body and paws all over the kitchen.

He looks gorgeous and slightly relaxed, almost comatose.

My little boy Frankie had to cross the kitchen floor after I washed it yesterday. He was heading to his food bowl and was determined to get there but was none too impressed at having to get his paws wet.

I often remind them that they are wild animals and that mummy was a feral cat. They just look at me with disdain and demand something to eat or a cuddle.

I have often told them that some people in the orient love cats so much that they eat them. They don't believe that anyone could eat Gods and Goddesses.

Who am I to argue?

Thank you wolf63. I won't tell him of your nice comments or he'll think even more highly of himself. He's not even thinking about lying on the lawn again now because it's p ...... ing down with rain plus lightning and thunder, so he's settled on my bed for the duration.

Your lovely Eric looks uncannily like my gorgeous boy, ASBO. He is just plain daft. We have just had the storm to end all storms and he was out in it. Came in looking like a drowned rat.
