No, neighbours cats are really useful for digging out and destroying all your carefully potted plants and leaving you a partly buried collection of their turds as a leaving gift in their place.

Who could ask for more ?

Eric would follow me or snags to shop given the opportunity - always have to check he's in and not out the front whenever we leave to go anywhere. I actually wouldn't mind but shop is over a busy road.

Amongst things he has brought in there has been a packet of ciggie filters - a few times actually. We don't know where he gets these :-/

Like Barmaid's critters, my cat can hear a tin opener from 3 fields away. It's a pity I'm only opening a tin of baked beans.

They are certainly not daft. My friend's cat waits on top of the gate post for her to come home, she stops the car, he jumps down from the post onto the warm bonnet of the car and they ride up the driveway together. She looks forward to it as much as he does.
