Having watched people on the plane looking at films on their tablets I have just bought my grandson one, he is coming with me to Turkey and it will keep him good, however how do you get the films, can you download them or transfer them or use a memory stick, whats the best way ?

might be better sightseeing at leaning about turkey than walking round with his nose stuck to a tablet

You can get them from the Google Play store (Movies & TV). There is also something called Handbrake where you can rip DVDs on a laptop and get them across to a tablet but it looks a bit complicated.

Easiest way is to buy or rent from the Google Play Store, but it will play pretty much any file you can throw at it if you have other ways of obtaining them. Connect the tablet (or its memory card) to your PC and copy them across.

Thanks guys, have just found google play store and I'm going to download a few for him, ivor4781 it is not intended for him to use " walking round with his nose stuck to a tablet " it was how I said on the plane, its a 4hr 30min flight.
