Tiling Advice Please.
I am going to put tiles above the upstand on the kitchen worktop.
Do I put the first row of tiles directly on the upstand top or put a spacer in?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I thought your upstand was existing tiles. :o(((
Assuming the upstand is nice and straight, then set them directly onto it, without the spacers.
If you do that, it's a good idea to run a thin silicone bead along afterwards to cover the joint.
If you don't want silicone, then set them on spacers so the joint can be grouted with the rest.
