I have just joined audible and am currently listening to my first purchase.
Will it always be in my library or does it just stay there for one month?

There forever - I had a membership for a year or so & then cancelled - but still have all the books on all my devices (phone/ipad/pc/netbook/kindle)

I am accessing it through the app but if I cancel my membership won't it be in accessible to me?
Won't I have to save it somewhere?

As S-D says, the audio books are yours to keep. However if you decide to cancel your membership make sure that you use up all your credits first, as they cease to be valid from the moment you cancel.

When you are listening on the iPad, that is a downloaded copy - any books you haven't yet downloaded/listened to are sort of 'greyed out' in the library view until you tap to download & listen.

The app works quite happily even after your subscription ends - just don't forget your username and password in case you want to enable another device.
