Watchdog And Pontins

Just seen a damning report about Pontins on Watchdog.

Bit worried as I have booked a break for the mini cassa clan at Camber Sands in October :(

Ooh! 588 'terrible' reviews out of 1215. My calculator makes that 48.4%. Add in 175 'poor' reviews and that makes 62.8% (i.e. nearly two thirds) of all visitors who don't even think that the place achieves 'average':

Oh well, cross your fingers. Perhaps you'll be among the 18.8% who think that it's better than average or even among the 3.8% who rate it as 'excellent'.

it's all about expectation. If you expect a pow type environment, then you aren't going to be disappointed!

Didn't watch Watchdog but don't worry all the adverse criticism may urge Pontins to do something about the problems before October. Best of luck.

TBF we went there about 4 yrs g it was crap then so we have low expectations lol

Good job it was one of those sun holidays that cost £38. BUT that is just the basic room price. Even with the sun rates we still had to pay another £90 for all the or stuf theyd on after you've booked...

We went to Pontins as kids with Mum and Dad many years ago and we all hated it, came home before the week was over !
