Just watching recording of this. They were brilliant together. I saw Sammy in concert at Liverpool around 1960ish. He was fantastic, but at the end of the show he said he wasn't happy with his performance, and he was going to perform the show again. That was a bonus too far. He was absolutely amazing.

I was a child in the 60s Caran,and remember not being interested in him them. But having seen some of this footage now,I can appreciate how great he was! A little treasure of a programme for his fans:-)

I've seen Tony Christie singing it and that was good too.

She did Tilly,along with a boat load of other singers,it's one of those great songs that has become a standard.
