I have the Sony VTX D800U which cost me about 99 and it is excelent.
Here is a pretty good list including the Humax.

Try to get one that has 2 scarts sockets as this will help your connectivity.
Note that some come with a hard disk built in which may be useful to record programs.
i've got a Matsui DTR2. only costs 30 squids and does exactly what it says on the tin. picks up the 5 terrestrial channels, bbc3 & 4, ITV 2,3,4, E4, E4+1,More4,Sky Travel, UKTV History, QVC, The Hits, FTN, TMF, Ideal World, BidTV, Pricedrop, Quiz call,Men & Motors, CBBC, Cbeebies, BBC News24, Sky News, Sky Sports News, BBC Parliament aswell as the interactive features which allow you to watch different sports things etc, YooPlay games, loadsa digital radio channels and you can use teletext. It also automatically checks and updates for new channels. The only thing is that it hasn't got a card insert thing which a lot of the more expensive ones have got for Top up TV which would allow you to buy other channels like UK gold etc. I'd recommend it though, great value and plenty of choice.
