it showed mostly what an idiot system is in operation over illegal immigration is in UK. It showed just how easy it is to get to stay even if you bunked in, or overstayed your visa, the bleating on was better than a flock of sheep. One guy said that he wanted to go home, because he had destroyed his passport, papers on entering UK, then it couldn't happen.
he had asked the Indian High Commission, British government, you would think that someone would have simply stuck him on a plane home, but it is not that simple apparently. The women who had over stayed tourist visas were as bad, they fight to get to stay and the longer it goes on the likelihood they will win. Bonkers immigration system in operation, as to the French police at Calais and other ports, they seem to not care a jot, what a surprise....

No anne, most of the country would probably go into 'meltdown' as you put it if everyone watched it. Except of course the bleeding heart liberals who want to let the whole world in, then of course when the NHS and social services collapses under its own weight it will all be the fault of the 'savage cuts'.

our immigration system needs a complete overhaul, however that is unlikely to happen, first off money is involved and manpower, plus the inertia of our top politicians to effectually bring about these changes.
Those blokes waiting at Calais said they all wanted to get to UK for a better life, not France, nor Germany, but Britain, because many have relatives already here. the figures put forward were somewhere around 800,000 illegals not sure if that was in UK as a whole or just in the capital, however nothing is going to stop them from coming, nor our borders being effectively monitored. One British lorry driver was find 18k for unknowingly having 18 illegals on the lorry, i believed him when he said he had done the various checks at Calais, but it was his first trip and perhaps has learned a bitter lesson, that money has to come out of his pocket, and the company was fined as well.
