When did you know you had got the job?

Years ago there were three of us up for interview.

The first girl came out and said ' He told me he couldn't resist a pretty face' I think the job is mine.

The second girl came out and said ' He loves my long shapely legs' so it's between me and you pretty face.

I went in and he told me I was the only one who knew what coercion meant. I said does this mean I don't have a pretty face or shapely legs. When he laughed out loud I knew the job was mine.

So what's your experience of interviews?

I went for my first teaching job, only one there. Waiting outside the head teacher's office a window cleaner asked me if I was in detention, I must have looked way too young.

My first interview was for office junior type job at a funeral parlour. They said I was too smiley for the job!

Knew I was getting a job 40 years ago when the soon to be boss said Weecalf your the only one here so ill suppose the jobs yours
