not looking for a specific answer, but I can't fathom the first part of the special instructions. I have some answers that must come under this category, but they aren't helping.

Gosh.. that's quite convoluted! So in your example, "European house" is a simple definition of the solution, and J is undefined, leading to orange from cockney rhyming slang?
