Magpas Quiz Everybody's Welcome Cut Off Date 7Th June 2014

I am just reminding everyone who requested a copy via email. -
the cut off date is in less than a week.
I am still waiting for over 100 entries requested via email to be returned.
Either I will have very large deliveries of mail on Monday......or many have forgotten again!!!
Could i please ask those who are intending to enter, and send in payment,
not to forget, I hope you dont mind a gentle reminder...

Hi quizmouse, just noticed on AB's listing that your original entry shows 7th July as closing date and did wonder if that could be why you are still missing so many, (wishful thinking, I know).
Anyway, posting mine off today with cheques along with James bowls quiz.

I hadn't seen the correction. I know the date is on the quiz sheet so everyone should realise but it could be possible that some keep an eye on the listing.

Sent mine in on the 15th May but it has not arrived have had to send a further copy fingers crossed this one arrives do not want to be a statistic of non returned e-mailed entries. Have had to use 2 cheques very annoying.

A lot of very valid comment - thanks folks. but even though the date was posted incorrectly, tho amended, it clearly had the correct date on the sheet, and since I reminded over 100 emailled requests, I really cant see how they can have forgotten.
There are still over 60 not paid for, and many ( over half of these) re the sme persons who requested an email copy before, previous quizzes, and did not pay either, so I am not going to have this problem again. In future it will be pay up front only, with a few exceptions possibly to those who have been genuine in the past.
Some of you have been doing my quizzes for years, so it wouldnt be fair to them, I feel I almost know you now with the comments etc I get back. I certainly recgnise your handwriting on the envelopes!!!

Apparently a number of people are not entering because they are hounded by Quiz Police for asking questions on a Q&A site. Somewhat ironic eh Smouse?

I think this thread has thrown up a few reasons why people are not returning their quiz - the main one seems to be that they did not finish.

That happens to me a lot with both Magpas and a couple of others, but I am so keen to know the answers (and support the Charity) I send it in - I am sure Quizmouse knows my handwriting by now! and my weak attempts to laugh off my silly guesses, but they are great quizzes and will continue to do them.

Was getting worried you had gone missing
A lot of people aren't entering quizzes because they have become lotteries and a lot of people never buy a quiz because they can just answer questions on here and this comment and yours do not really relate to this thread do they. It is quizmouse who has chosen to say do not ask so think you need to save your dig at me for another thread not this one
