Linking to UNC path

Is it possible to hyperlink from a web page to a unc path. Basically I have a windows 2000 file server with an html frontpage using IIS and Dreamweaver. I want to link to a folder on the same server using its unc path.

Yes as long as you have DNS setup correctly on the server.

DNS is working correctly. I was using a ready made Java menu. Edited the code within and hey presto.
