Balls of feet hurt

I bought some new shoes on which the heels are actually higher than I thought. I have insoles & those gel "party feet" in them, but the balls of my feet are now agony, even though I've been wearing trainers for the past 2 days.

Will my feet get used to the high heels? Or am I destined not to wear them?

& any reccomendations for getting rid of the pain right now??

I quite often get painful 'balls' . I would never use those party feet as truly believe they make your feet hurt more and are unatural.

You could either get a piece of foam or some Dr Scholl inserts to put under the arch of your foot. This may help.
Have you got a golf ball to hand, or something like that. Roll your feet over that. it will help.
